The Bull Went over the Mountain
It’s time to go north. We’ve stuck pretty close to “civilization” for a while now, and consequently we’ve been leaving behind a lot of the things that make travel so enjoyable. Silence. Reflection. Fishin’. Scenic Vistas. And more fishin’. Here you will find a spasmographical account of flying from the heartland of the Horde to the very edge of remoteness, in not-so-great a distance. Despite the machines of industry and the flames of war, Kalimdor remains a place of one hundred wildernesses, and high above its central plains the Steamwheedle Cartel has built a research station and provisioning centre, at Everlook. No one can fault their ingenuity or bravery — but let’s try, shall we?
[EDITOR’S NOTE: not to toot any horns, but is that a cool screenshoot or what?]
I can’t be held responsible for the failure of my train of thought to make a lot of sense, okay? I’m working hard at my cooking lessons and the latest one involved making up vat upon vat upon vat of Kungaloosh. And then, well — someone had to drink the stuff.

It’s depressing to see Hyjal still so bad. I did some time there to force back the Twilights, and went head to head with Ragnaros(With help. I won’t lie; godlike beings backed me up.).
But Winterspring is always nice to visit, especially the Furbolg.

“Tauren aren’t really used to heights.”
That seems an odd statement to make of the owners of the most vertigo-inducing capital city on Azeroth.
Perhaps you meant “high altitudes”?

Well, it’s a funny thing. If you remember some of my early entries where I discussed the Tauren obsession with elevators, we’re fascinated by heights — but we’re not *built* for them. We stuck to the wide-open plains, mostly, and made up crazy stories about what was on top of the buttes. And then we got up there and realized there wasn’t anything there — and that wouldn’t do, so we built a city.
But we still puke off the side *all the time*.

Heya, Starfall is actually a lot friendlier these days! Aside from their pest problem, I found it delightful. Stop on by!

Winterspring is one of my favorite Azerothian places – looking forward to coming posts! (Make sure you visit the Lorax)

Hey, I just discovered this site! Very cool, I will be looking over the archives. I love your reply to Barix about Tauren and heights. “And then we got up there and realized there wasn’t anything there” lol.
